Navantia is a Spanish company of global reference in the design, construction, and maintenance of both civilian and military ships. Challenge

Improve the traceability of processes in crane production and modernize the monitoring system of the various industrial assets presented. Additionally, Navantia needed to incorporate all digitized information to be used by operators along with a remote control and safety systems such as emergency stops, allowing for immediate action in the event of any incident.

Solution

The proposed solution consists of integrating Dragsa and Ikol as an advanced real-time monitoring and remote control platform, specifically designed to optimize interaction with various cranes. Through Dragsa, data management became more efficient, providing more accurate and reliable results. Meanwhile, IkolCrane enabled a more intuitive crane operation, allowing operators to visualize results on a panel integrated into the equipment. This synergy not only improves precision in crane handling but also enhances safety and operational efficiency in the sector.
